Oxford United tweeted a childish response to fans looking forward to seeing the club’s kit for next season, revealing just the socks.

The League One side’s social media team had come under increasing pressure from supporters to announce the beginning of sales of their new home kit.

Apparently caving in on Wednesday, a potentially exciting video for interested parties was released from Oxford United’s twitter account.

However all it disclosed was the appearance of the socks while confirming they were now available for pre-sale, though the full home kit was revealed later in the day.
