Ohod goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Owaishir had a shoe thrown at him while he was ‘doing the worm’ in celebration of keeping a clean sheet at Al-Hilal.

Saturday’s 0-0 draw at the King Saud University Stadium was a notable result for Ohod, who lie bottom of the Saudi Pro League and look destined for relegation.

Al-Hilal on the other hand are top of the table, so this result was a setback for their title chances – they’re only two points clear of Al Nassr.

Even so, Al-Owaishir’s provocative routine in front of the home fans was ill-advised and he was pelted with bottles and a shoe for his troubles.

When the footwear lands near his head and bounces away, he quickly realises he’s a sitting duck and makes a break for it.
