Italy’s Nicolò Barella kicked a ball at a ball boy’s head from close range during Saturday’s 3-0 Euro 2020 qualifying win in Greece.
The Cagliari Calcio midfielder, who looks set for a big-money move to Inter, also opened the scoring as Roberto Mancini’s side strolled to victory.

At one point, he had a cross blocked by Arsenal defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos and the ball ricocheted back into him and out of play for a goal kick.
In his frustration, Barella booted the ball back towards the stands after it had bounced back towards him off an advertising hoarding.

Unfortunately it flew straight at a ball boy’s head, knocking him off his feet to the apparent amusement of a cameraman who swung around to capture the aftermath.
Barella leaped over the board to attend to the stricken youngster, who was also offered a helping hand up by a fellow ball boy.
