José Mourinho was recorded having a dig at Gareth Bale during a Tottenham Hotspur training session, mockingly asking if he wanted to return to Real Madrid.

The Portuguese manager was overseeing some shooting practice when Welsh star Bale had a shot saved, at which he can be heard to say:

You want to stay here or go to Real Madrid and play no football?

Presumably the comment was in jest, as it would seem to be an unnecessarily inflammatory response to an innocuous moment.

Bale has made twelve appearances in all competitions for Spurs since rejoining from the La Liga giants, scoring three goals.
