José Mourinho said Victor Lindelöf is “not especially good in the air” moments before he made a mess of a header while warming up for Man Utd at West Ham.

Swedish defender Lindelöf was part of the Red Devils side that lost 2-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday, with Andriy Yarmolenko and Aaron Cresswell the scorers.

Jose signed him!

Speaking as a pundit during Sky Sports’s live coverage of the Premier League fixture, former United manager Mourinho made the disparaging remark about Lindelöf’s aerial prowess.

Just seconds later, his assessment appeared to be validated when Lindelöf conspired to mistime a leap, allowing the ball to loop over his head.
