Moroccan team Youssoufia Berrechid conceded a penalty arriving back late from a selfie goal celebration in Tuesday’s game against Mouloudia Oujda.
After taking the lead through Mohammed El Fakih’s fine strike, their players went to the side of the pitch and gathered around a phone.

However, their attempt to emulate Mario Balotelli’s recent Instagram Live celebration backfired when the referee allowed their opponents to take a quick kick-off.
In their haste to get back and defend, they concede a penalty which is promptly dispatched for an instant equaliser.
For context, both clubs are in a 8 team struggle for 2 continental positions, with only 6 points separating 2nd and 9th, and a victory would’ve lifted Youssoufia Berrechid to 3rd. Wydad Casablanca, meanwhile, have run away with the Botola (as the Moroccan top division is called).

It was to prove costly as no further goals were scored and the fixture ended 1-1.
The two teams currently lie 5th and 6th respectively in the Botola, Morocco’s top flight, level on points going into the season’s final stages.
