An AC Milan fan burned his Hakan Çalhanoğlu number 10 shirt as the Turkish attacking midfielder left for local rivals Inter on a free transfer.

What’s more, he filmed the burning jersey and posted a clip on Twitter along with the caption “Judas was a lord compared to you”.

Stefano Pioli’s Rossoneri finished 2nd to Inter in last season’s Serie A following a strong second half to the campaign in which Çalhanoğlu was influential.

As such, this transfer will come as a huge blow to their plans of going one better next time around, let alone the complications of the intense rivalry between the two clubs.
