See renowned goalie Manuel Neuer in Monsters University as the voice of “Frightening” Frank McCay in the German dubbed version of Disney Pixar’s upcoming blockbuster.

Monsters University or Die Monster Uni is the hotly anticipated prequel to Monsters, Inc. that arrived on our silver screens way back in 2001.

Due for release this summer (June 21st), kids all over the world can hardly wait to see the latest animated instalment in the Disney Pixar dynasty.

And nowhere more so than Germany, where they have a little more reason that most, as first choice Bayern Munich and German international goalkeeper Manuel Neuer plays the part of “Frightening” Frank McCay.

McCay is described by the always informative Pixar wiki like so:

“Frightening” Frank McCay is a character in Monsters University. He is a Scaring super star at Monsters, Inc., an alumni of Monsters University, and the one who inspired Michael Wazowski to become a Scarer.

Neuer takes the place of The Office star John Krasinski, who plays McCay in the English-language version.
