VIDEO: Manager winds up opposition fans in Spanish Segunda División B match

Flurry of hand gestures inflame tensions at Ourense v Bande.

Watch as Bande’s manager winds up opposition fans in a Spanish Segunda División B match at Unión Deportiva Ourense’s O Couto stadium.

With the score tied at 1-1, González ignites the Ourense supporters with a series of hand gestures and continues to do so with each passing goal as his side go on to record a 3-1 away win.

The coach, who is apparently no stranger to controversy, was sent off near the final whistle but harboured little in the way of regret.

Spanish publication La Marca reports him as saying:

I’m not a violent person and I never had a problem, but from the bench, if I have to kiss the Bande shield, I’ll kiss it, and if I have to point my name out, I’ll point it out.

As long as they mess with me, my players will be quietly playing.
