A man sent out to replace the corner flag at Tondela during their match against Porto tripped over the electronic advertising boards on his way to get it.
Porto came away with a 2-0 away win in the Portuguese Primeira Liga clash with Tondela on Thursday night.
Play was briefly paused by the officials when a missing corner flag had to be retrieved before the host’s game with the league leaders could resume.
A man, thought to be a club staff member was seen running along the perimeter of the pitch towards it but managed to fall over an advertising board before managing to replant the pole.
