A North Macedonia fan was banging a drum with a hole in it as he cheered on his team midway through the second half of their group stage defeat to Ukraine at Euro 2020.
North Macedonia were beaten 2-1 by Ukraine at the National Arena in Bucharest, Romania on Thursday, in their second Group C clash of the competition.

The Macedonian minnows went two goals behind before Ezgjan Alioski netted the rebound from his penalty to hand them a lifeline in the match.
With a sense of renewed optimism in the stands, the fans did all they could to assist – including one man who could be seen attempting to strike his drum with a huge hole in it while waving his other arm in the air.
