A sporting Louis van Gaal says “C’mon The Town” in an Irish accent in support of a Gaelic football club in this clip, in response to a request from a fan.

The Manchester United manager was signing autographs and chatting with supporters upon leaving Old Trafford following their 2-0 win against West Brom on Saturday when 64-year-old Catherine Doyle asked for the favour.

Only too happy to comply, Louis van Gaal says “C’mon The Town” and shows off a pretty convincing Irish accent.

Reporting back, Portlaoise GAA fan Doyle told Independent.ie:

We met him last year and I had the feeling he’d be up for the craic… he’s very warm, very affable, he speaks to everyone.

He came up to say hello and I just asked him… he obviously didn’t know what it meant [but] I knew he would do it.
