A wayward Robert Lewandowski shot crashed into the phone of a man taking a selfie behind the goal during a Poland training session.

The 32-year-old Bayern Munich striker was getting in some shooting practice ahead of the European Championships, which get underway on Friday night.

But his shot blazed uncharacteristically wide and sent the selfie-taker’s phone flying, eliciting an amusingly despairing reaction from the watching goalkeeper.

Paulo Sousa’s Poles start their tournament with a Group E fixture against Slovakia at the Gazprom Arena in Russia on Monday evening.
