Eventually gives up.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa was unable to pronounce ‘Ipswich’ during a press conference looking ahead to Sunday’s match at Portman Road.

As he turns to his translator Salim Lamrani for help with the word, Bielsa’s attempted pronunciations include what sounds like “Ispich” and “Ipschwitz”.

Bielsa seemed fairly relaxed speaking after the game, that’s despite everything that’s happened over the past few weeks. Gave up with pronouncing Ipswich though… #LUFC pic.twitter.com/72Fsvgvge3

Eventually he declares himself defeated, eliciting laughter from the press gallery.

Bielsa was yesterday involved in a touchline dispute with Aston Villa coach John Terry as the two sides played out a controversial and fiery encounter.

The 1-1 draw at Elland Road ensured that automatic promotion is mathematically out of reach for Leeds, who must now look to the playoffs.
