A racecourse in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland was the setting for a League of Ireland mascot race between representatives of the country’s top sides.
Approximately 18 miles from Dublin, characters in giant outfits lined up to face each other ahead of the day’s horse racing.

Prior to the event, sponsored by gambling company Paddy Power, the mascots paraded themselves in the paddock before being led out as a group onto the course.
A thrilling end to the contest saw Harper The Dog from Finn Harps romp home to win.
