Borussia Dortmund defender Manuel Akanji demonstrated his ability to do mental arithmetic faster than a calculator when appearing on a TV talk show.

The Switzerland World Cup star wowed the audience as he answered a difficult sum before the sportpanorama presenter could even start typing on Swiss channel SRF Sport.

Asked about his remarkable talent afterwards, Akanji reveals that he used to do maths equations with vehicle license plates.

“Don’t ask me why,” he adds.
