Las Vegas Lights dropped $10,000 out of a helicopter for competition-winning fans to collect on the pitch at their Cashman Field arena.

Taking place during half-time of their United Soccer League match against El Paso Locomotive, the supporters scrambled around scooping up as many dollar bills as possible.

@HQOnESPN Hey guys, we did it again!!! We know Papi loved it last year … this year the total value of our #LightsCashDrop 2.0 was over $10,000!!!

It came almost exactly one year on to the day from their previous cash drop, during a 1-2 defeat to LA Galaxy II.

They lost on this occasion as well, suffering a 0-3 reversal and getting reduced to ten men late on when Junior Sandoval received a red card.
