Juventude mascot Periquito couldn’t hide his dismay when Dalberto missed a gilt-edged opportunity in Tuesday’s Brazilian Série B match.

The budgerigar gesticulated with frustration on the touchline when the striker blazed high and wide following a defensive mix-up at the Estádio Alfredo Jaconi.

Fortunately his team went on to make the breakthrough ten minutes later through Breno, who added a second on 55 minutes.

Dalberto then made amends with a goal of his own to seal a 3-0 win that leaves them 5th in the table after seventeen games played.
