Watch as former Liverpool and Watford favourite John Barnes raps again, with a rousing rendition of The Sugarhill Gang – Rapper’s Delight at his old team-mate Mark Wright’s birthday party.

We all loved the adventurous midfielder’s contribution to New Order’s World in Motion track alongside former England heroes Gazza and Peter Beardsley, amongst others, all those years ago.

And now Barnes, drink in hand, is back for more – performing the classic tune with impressive cohesiveness to an adoring crowd in a marquee.

I was lucky enough to be invited to ex Liverpool & England defender Mark Wright’s 50th birthday, amongst the guests were many Liverpool Legends, including my ultimate footballing hero John Barnes, after a little bit of arm twisting & alcohol, I managed to get John to entertain the crowd… Like this!

Such an amazing & entertaining individual, BRILLIANT
