Montreal Impact coach Thierry Henry wore a microphone on the touchline during his team’s Major League Soccer match against Nashville on Tuesday.
It seems fair to say that the Frenchman was not quite enamoured with the performance of his players as they slumped to a 0-1 defeat at their Red Bull Arena home.
In this clip, he can be heard yelling “if you turned, you would have seen players here”, “Mason was there, Victor, no?” and “that’s not a football run, man”.
A World Cup winner in 1998, Henry scored 360 goals in an illustrious club career that took in spells at Monaco, Juventus, Arsenal and Barcelona.
