Watch Harry Redknapp’s post-match interview after Jordan beat Bangladesh 8-0 in his first game in charge, as the English manager struggles to understand the questions through the presenter’s thick accent.
Despite having only recently taken on an advisory role at Derby County, Redknapp has been appointed manager of Jordan for their final two Group B World Cup qualifying matches, starting with this big win.
As the final whistle blew, Harry was caught by an eager television interviewer before he could make it down the tunnel.
The former Spurs coach fails to comprehend several of the questions posed to him and bats them away with a classic English tourist’s tongue, repeating the mantra that they have “good” players and the future of Jordanian football is “good”.
He goes on to quite forthrightly praise Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, King Hussein’s son and Redknapp’s latest employer as president of the Jordan Football Association.
We’re not even sure he’s aware the impromptu discussion is being filmed, since the camera appears to be stood a little distance away.
Clearly not too comfortable, Redknapp makes numerous thwarted attempts get back to the changing rooms before being finally let go.

Following the win, Jordan lie second in the group, two points behind Australia, who they are set to face in Sydney on Tuesday and have to beat in order to reach the third round of Asian qualifying for the World Cup finals 2018 in Russia.
Harry is said to be open to extending his contract beyond the current deal.
