There was a considerable delay in the second-half of Huddersfield’s game against Manchester United while a corner flag was replaced after it was broken during a goal celebration.

Belgian forward Isaac Mbenza snapped the pole in half after equalising for the home side on the hour mark at the John Smith’s Stadium on Sunday.

Apparently unprepared for such an eventuality, it took a team of men several minutes to plant a new extendable flag in the corner.

The crowd delighted in the chaos amongst the ground staff as they went about their duty with thousands of gazes upon them.
