Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock stared menacingly into a camera while walking towards it just before Saturday’s 2-3 defeat to Crystal Palace.

The result sealed the Bluebirds’ relegation to the Championship, and Warnock was clearly feeling the pressure during the build-up.

Spotting a camera focusing on him standing by the dugout, Warnock decided to make a point of some sort by returning the attention.

With his hands behind his back and chewing gum, Warnock looks a little like Oasis front man Liam Gallagher in this clip.

It has also inspired editors to make musical mash-up tributes to The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” and The Prodigy’s “Firestarter”.

Goals from Wilfried Zaha, Michy Batshuayi and Andros Townsend consigned Cardiff to the drop, with Brighton and Hove Albion now guaranteed survival.
