Following their win over Fulham, Leeds United substitute Gianni Alioski proceeded to clap the cardboard cutouts of supporters that had been placed in the empty stands.
Championship leaders Leeds thrashed their promotion rivals 3-0 in an empty Elland Road due to coronavirus restrictions on Saturday.
Despite being booked, substitute Alioski had a good day after coming on at half-time and scoring the home side’s second goal shortly after.
He was seen on the television coverage parading across the pitch with his hands in the air, clapping the inanimate fans – thanking them for their support after the final whistle.
