Gareth Bale rolled his eyes in exasperation as VAR took its time deciding on a fourth Denmark goal against Wales at the end of Saturday’s Euro 2020 match.
Another scintillating performance from the Danes booked their place in the quarter-finals of the competition as they ran out 4-0 winners in Amsterdam.

With his side already three down and with Harry Wilson sent off, Bale was not in the mood for the lengthy deliberation on Martin Braithwaite’s stoppage time strike.
He also appeared to mouth a swear word in his frustration, and he walked away from a post-match interview after being asked if it had been his last international game.
