The frustration was palpable in this young Bolton Wanderers fan’s voice as he tried to roar the team on during Saturday’s 1-2 defeat to Ipswich Town.
His father Darren Butler bought him a season ticket for the Macron Stadium this season but this was the first match he made it to.
no problem – i got him a season ticket when he was born but this was the first match he had been (maybe the last :-) )

And as his dad joked, it may well prove to be the last one.
Phil Parkinson’s Trotters went in two goals down at half-time, with Collin Quaner scoring twice for Paul Lambert’s visiting side.
A Josh Emmanuel own goal halved the deficit deep into stoppage time, but Bolton still lost at home to the only club below them in the Championship table.
