There was a fox on the pitch before Birmingham faced Stoke at St Andrew’s in the Championship this weekend.

Birmingham City secured a 2-1 win over Nathan Jones’s side on Saturday afternoon after 16-year-old substitute Jude Bellingham’s winner in the 76th minute.

But, ahead of kick-off, a fox was seen scurrying around the ground.

Not unnoticed by stadium staff and other early arrivals, it ran across the pitch and then managed to jump into the stand opposite the Stoke City fans before disappearing from view.
