A steward came face to face with a fox at Hibernian’s Easter Road stadium during the build-up to Saturday’s Scottish Premiership match against Aberdeen.
Two goals from Martin Boyle saw Jack Ross’s Hibs side run out 2-0 winners, leaving them 3rd in the table ahead of Derek McInnes’s Dons.

And before the game, someone filming the pre-match preparations spotted a member of the ground staff keeping tabs on a fox in the stands.
The mammal appears to keep a watchful eye in return before scurrying off towards the steps down to the concourse.
