Watch as an eager Fluminense fan kisses Fred’s feet after invading the pitch during a home game against Botafogo, apparently in order to do so.

Fluminense eventually lost the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A clash 1-0, but this did not stop the fan from praising Fred with the ultimate act of kneeling at his feet and planting kisses on his boots as the entire stadium looked on.

Brazilian international Fred recently shone on the international stage at the Confederations Cup, which the carnival country won as the host nation.

After disrupting the game for a few moments with his kissing antics, the fan got back to his feet and waved to the crowd before promptly returning to his seat.

An official even appears to open an entrance through the barriers in order to ease the fan’s return back in to the stand.

The supporter waits patiently as this is organised for him and is greeted as a hero by fellow Fluminense ticket-holders.
