A fan missing the Sky Sports Super Sunday football coverage shared a video of himself as if he was a player appearing on the footage prior to a game.

Matches in the UK are, of course, currently postponed due to the spread of COVID-19 and broadcasters have even offered viewers the chance to pause the relevant charges for their subscriptions.

Squeezed in before the adverts, with sound, he appears greeting someone who is presumably a family member at the top of the stairs in a house – stopping to sign an autograph and take a quick selfie.

The scene is completed with a classic slow-motion shot of a glance towards the camera before heading off towards the changing rooms.
