Fans watching Netherlands play against Austria on TV tricked their Dutch neighbours, who were watching a delayed stream of the game, into thinking their team had scored.

The Netherlands beat Austria 2-0 in a Euro 2020 group stage clash at the Johan Cruyff Arena on Thursday night to top Group C.

A few supporters noticed their neighbours watching the match on a big screen in their garden but with a delay of around 30 seconds.

So, when the Dutch were through on goal, they started to loudly celebrate as if a goal had been scored despite the shot being blazed over the bar.

The prankster bunch then watched as their fellow fans nearby got ready to observe the ball hitting the back of the net, only to be left disappointed.
