Watch a Dundee player slide tackle his team-mate who was, until then, hurtling down the wing with the ball at his feet during the side’s Scottish Premiership clash with Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday.

22-year-old defender Jack Hendry inexplicably crashed into club Player of the Year and vice-captain Cameron Kerr, of the same age, after appearing to run directly towards him at great pace.

Both players are brought down by the resulting tackle and Kerr agonisingly watches the ball drift away from him as he is left lying stricken on the ground.

Dundee went home empty-handed after a 4-1 defeat.
