In the latest instalment of Liverpool’s kids show, the star striker visits the primary school and sneaks up on some of the pupils as they are questioned about Liverpool Football Club and their thoughts on Sturridge himself.

The player spends some time with each of the youngsters, chatting about football and their interests as well as helping them to perfect his goal celebration.

One sparky Everton supporter was not as impressed as her classmates though and declared that “every time I look out the window, all Liverpool players come to school in a dustbin” in reply to Sturridge’s assertion that “most of the cool people support Liverpool”.
