The young girl was proudly walking alongside the star as his side prepared to face Atlético Madrid at the Bernabéu when she was forced to react to the shock of Ronaldo’s giant jump on the spot close to her.

You can see the timid, diminutive youngster cower away from the player in apparent fear in the short clip that was shared on social media.

A 1-1 draw left the hosts ten points clear of their local rivals at the top of the table, with a game in hand.
