This Chivas fan watched his team’s Copa MX quarter-final at Club América on Thursday at home while wearing a club shirt and a mask.

The supporter’s devotion was further underlined by a flag bearing the Mexican side’s insignia, draped over the back of the couch he was sitting on.

His daughter shared a photo of his get-up on Twitter, adding “my dad is that fan”.

Unfortunately for him, his favourite team – full name Club Deportivo Guadalajara – fell to a 2-0 defeat at the Estadio Azteca.
