Borussia Dortmund players celebrated in front of an empty Südtribüne stand after beating Schalke 4-0 behind closed doors as the Bundesliga resumed amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

German’s top flight is the first in Europe to get back underway, with Lucien Favre’s Dortmund romping home after a cagey opening period in Saturday’s Revierderby.

Erling Braut Håland’s tenth goal in nine games opened the floodgates, with Raphaël Guerreiro scoring twice and Thorgan Hazard adding another at the Westfalenstadion.

The victorious team then staged a lighthearted celebration in front of the empty stand, which is the largest standing terrace area in European football.
