Comedian Bob Mortimer shares his idea for a Phil Jones superhero movie in this surreal video clip posted on his Twitter account.

Mortimer, a legend of the UK comedy scene alongside his onscreen sidekick Vic Reeves (real name Jim Moir), has enjoyed more recent acclaim for his Train Guy persona.

For his latest trick, Mortimer inexplicably adopts a Yorkshire accent to summarise his decidedly silly plot for a Netflix film based on Man Utd defender Jones.

As he does so, dramatic background music ebbs and flows to ramp up the effect.
