Watch as an angry barmaid sprays Stoke City fans with a fire extinguisher because they were being noisy in the pub garden, singing songs about their team.
The rowdy group were in The Wellington pub in Birmingham ahead of the their side’s clash with Aston Villa on Saturday.
Rather than quietening them down though, the fire extinguisher spray appears to only serve to motivate them further – although some of the supporters do soggily slink off after the action is over.
The landlord of the pub is reported to have said:
We welcome groups of football supporters every week, and 99 per cent of them are no trouble at all but staff became fed-up with this particular group who refused to follow the rules.
Simply, these were a group of badly behaved Stoke fans.
This is the first time we have been forced to call the police during my 11 years at the pub.
Their rowdy behaviour left us with no choice but to call police – we don’t need a load of idiots from Stoke upsetting the apple cart.
