A bar in Saint-Tropez played “God Save the Queen” for Derby County manager Frank Lampard to celebrate his birthday while he was on holiday on the French Riviera.

The Rams boss turned 41 on Thursday and his wife, Christine of Loose Women TV fame, shared a clip of them celebrating on Instagram.

What a guy. How can u hate lampard.

She surprised him by arranging for the venue to make a fuss for the occasion and they duly obliged by blaring out the UK’s national anthem and handing out sparklers.

They also draped a Saint George’s Cross flag over his shoulders as he laughed and high-fived members of staff.

Lampard has been heavily linked with the vacant manager’s job at Chelsea, the club he enjoyed so much success at during his playing career.
