December is upon us and this means the start of Manchester City’s video advent calendar. Via the club’s YouTube channel, a new video featuring a different player will be released on each day right up until Christmas Day.

To start the calendar off, Mario Balotelli stars in Balotelli Crackers which shows the much-discussed striker pulling on three crackers – winning two and losing the last. Balotelli eventually reads a joke from one, which he fails to understand:

Day two, December 2nd, treats the footballing public to Jingle Bells, read by Aleksandar Kolarov in a sombre performance almost reminiscent of a reading at a funeral. It’s Kolarov’s Christmas Classic:
