An assistant referee sipped from a bottle of beer after a pitch invasion to celebrate Malmesbury Victoria scoring at Roman Glass in the FA Vase first round.

The two historic clubs met at Oaklands Park on Saturday, with the visitors winning 2-0 on the 4G pitch to spring an upset against a team from a higher level.

Goals from Shane Bumphrey and Joe Tranter secured Malmesbury’s progress to the second round, with one linesman joining in the celebrations.
