One of the assistant referees for Scotland’s crucial Euro 2020 qualifier in Serbia made an extravagant gesture following his final pre-match fist bump with colleagues.

Serbia and Scotland played out a dramatic play-off game on Thursday night, as a penalty shootout finished their quest for qualification for the delayed European Championship next summer.

After the coin toss, prior to kick off at the Rajko Mitić Stadium in Belgrade, the captains made their way off while the Spanish officials completed their hygienic alternative to the handshake.

44-year-old Roberto Díaz Pérez Del Palomar completed his greeting with opposite number Pau Cebrián Devis with a bit of flair, stretching out the palm of his hand.
