Wide player for Arsenal Women, Lisa Evans made a showboating attempt to retrieve the ball before taking a throw-in against Everton but managed to flick it over the advertising hoardings surrounding the pitch.

Arsenal Women beat their Evertonian counterparts 4-0 at Boreham Wood’s Meadow Park in a WSL 1 clash between the two sides on Sunday.

With Arsenal already two goals in front early in the second half, Lisa Evans was getting ready to take the set-piece near the byline.

Rather than reach down to collect the ball with her hands, the 28-year-old tried a trick which went a bit wrong, before appearing to complain to whoever was listening.
