Al Sadd players came out of the tunnel dressed as doctors in tribute to medical staff before their 2-1 win over Al Khor in the Qatar Stars League.

Their manager, Spain World Cup winner Xavi, was absent for the match at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium after recently testing positive for coronavirus.

In their first game back since Qatari football went on hold amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a first-half double from Akfram Afif was enough to secure the victory.

It consolidated 3rd place in the table for the Doha-based side, while Al Khor lie 10th out of the twelve top-flight clubs.
