The Wilfried Zaha Instagram showing his new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær alongside a caption of “nothing like someone who believes in you” was “not intended as a dig” at David Moyes according to the Manchester United player, currently on loan at Cardiff.

Zaha’s Instagram (see above) caused so much of a stir yesterday evening, that it was quickly deleted after the player apparently had second thoughts over his choice of wording.

The seemingly already unsettled summer United signing then took to Twitter in an attempt to explain himself.

Zaha claimed that his “last Instagram picture was not intended as a dig or indirect at my manager”, that he has “nothing but respect” for Moyes and the post was meant to be a tribute to Solskjær for having “a lot faith”.

The tweets were then, in turn, deleted too.
