Mjøndalen’s Quint Jansen had his face squashed by a close-range attempt on goal in a 2-3 defeat to Bodø/Glimt.
Mjøndalen hosted Bodø/Glimt and played out the five-goal thriller in the Norwegian Eliteserien at the Consto Arena.
29-year-old, 6’3″ defender Quint Jansen found his head in the firing line of a shot from Danish forward Philip Zinckernagel, who opened the scoring.
The ball hit him square in the face, as seen in an astonishing photo taken by Bjørn S. Delebekk, before being substituted in the 69th minute.
