Serbian team hire 22-year-old as head of analytics after Football Manager success

Took them to Champions League semis in 16 seasons.

FK Bežanija have hired 22-year-old Andrej Pavlović as the club’s head of analytics as they were impressed by his achievements in Football Manager.

The team play in the Serbian First League, which is only the second tier of the Balkan country’s football structure.

Andrej Pavlović, 22, took Serbian side FK Bežanija to the Champions League semi-finals on Football Manager 👏

He decided to send his in-game achievements to the club last week and they offered him a real life job 😲

But despite their lowly status, Pavlović managed to take them all the way to the semi-finals of the Champions League after sixteen seasons of playing the game.

Based in Novi Beogra, a municipality of the nation’s capital Belgrade, Bežanija finished 7th in the last campaign.
