Romanian Liga II team FC U Craiova have sacked former Juventus and Cagliari defender Nicolò Napoli as their manager for a sixth time.

This comes despite the fact that they sit top of the table and most recently beat FC Rapid București 5-0 in the Cupa României.

Napoli’s six spells managing the club have all come since 2004, while he was also dismissed as technical director in 2018.

He played 62 times for Serie A giants Juve during his playing career, scoring six goals.
