A youngster was spotted in the stands at Stamford Bridge wearing a Chelsea shirt with Fortnite above the number 11 on its back.

Attending the stadium for the hosts’ thrilling 2-2 draw with José Mourinho’s Manchester United on Saturday, the gamer appeared to want to display his commitment to the popular online video game.

Developed by Epic Games, Fortnite was first released in 2017 and has become somewhat of a cultural phenomenon after an exponential increase in player numbers in its infancy.

Fortnite Battle Royale became a resounding success, drawing in more than 125 million players in less than a year while earning hundreds of millions of dollars per month for the company.
