The queues for COVID-19 vaccinations and Plymouth Argyle season tickets got mixed up outside the League One club’s Home Park ground on Monday.
Annual passes for the 2021-22 campaign went on sale then, but confusion arose due to the Pilgrims’ stadium being used to immunise people against coronavirus.

Despite “significant stewarding”, the different lines became muddled and some people suddenly found that they had been waiting in the wrong one.
Speaking to the Plymouth Herald, one man said:
There were four queues all next to each other. Took me a few minutes to realise I was queuing for tickets.
It was pretty busy up there and I ended up queuing for Argyle tickets by mistake.
